Waxdale began the way most development shops do - building websites and software
for businesses that needed them. Good work, delivered on time, clients who came back.
The pattern we kept seeing was uncomfortable. We would ship an excellent system,
and six months later the client's team was still doing the same manual work around
it: copying data between tools, chasing leads by hand, rebuilding the same report
every Monday. The software was fine. The workflow around it was not.
So we changed what we deliver. Every project now starts with an automation audit -
we find the repetitive human steps first, and build the system to eliminate them,
not just digitise them.
Along the way we started selling our own products on Amazon. That turned out to
matter more than we expected: it means when we manage a client's Amazon account,
we are applying strategies we have already tested with our own inventory and our
own money on the line.
